Her arm that had been outstretched with the light saber slowly fell back to her side as she stepped closer towards him.

She had so many questions, and Rey knew he was the one who would have the answers. Whether or not he willingly shared them was up to, well, him.

"I heard your voice before I knew it belonged to you."

She lay across the awning over the entrance to the club, draped in nothing but some strategically placed strands of pearls. It was Pryce's latest scheme to try to drum up business. Frankly, Maya thought it was just giving the show away for free, but she wasn't about to argue with the boss.

Anyway, when people stopped to stare at her, sometimes, she could sink hooks into their minds from where she lay.

You want to come into the show. You want to drink and tip the dancing girls...

It was surprisingly easy.

Which made it all the more confusing when she found that she couldn't penetrate the mind of a boy, one who didn't even look old enough to shave, let alone patronize Pryce's den. She had no idea who he was or what he was doing in a disgusting dive like this, but she found herself trying again and again to brush against his mind.

He felt the touch of another mind before he noticed the woman. He'd just been passing by, but the effort to penetrate his mind stopped him and Luke stood on the street outside, searching for the source of the disturbance.

When he found it, he couldn't help but blush--and also furrow his brow in amused disbelief.

Is that the best you can think of to do with your powers?

The surprise only registered on Maya's face for a flickering second, and then it was gone. She had to play her part, or Pryce would have her head. He had a soft spot for her, but it only went so far. And the second his bottom line was in jeopardy, all sentiment went out the window.

She resumed her provocative pose, looking at passing men and women from under her heavy eyelashes.

But her mind wandered out again...

[totally on Yavin 4. Totally working on fixing his x-wing while BB-8 runs diagnostics. Totally did not go through a black hole sending him back in time.

[The battle's over and the celebration has begun to die down, and Luke's starting to find his footing again as he adjusts to being The One Who Destroyed the Death Star while they figure out their next moves, and he's casually avoiding his new-found fame by taking a walk, alone.

That's when he comes across the X-Wing and the pilot, with a slightly unfamiliar flight suit and a very unfamiliar droid. Luke frowns--it's not like he's buddies with all of them, but he recognizes most of the pilots by sight, at this point.]

There a problem with your ship?

There's a long list of problems, it seems. Nothing I can't fix, but this is the worst time for it to decide to break down on me.

[he looked over at the hero and there is something about his face that is familiar, but he can't place it]

Her eyes fell to the small droid, her eyes brightening as a smile tugged at her lips.

"Not just me." Rey corrected, still smiling as she made eye contact with BB-8's owner.

She fixed the Lightsaber to her belt, wrapped herself up so it was hidden, and headed out, using her staff as a walking stick. Until she controlled her emotions, it was better to use that if she had to fight. She hoped she didn't, but at the same time, her nerves buzzed at her, and she had to do... something.

[His whole heroic act had been to go after her. Of course he's going to ask about her now that he's up and around. And Poe is just the guy to ask, he hopes.]
